Starting over in 2025

Vlog Ep.01: Starting over in 2025 in my 30s isn't easy. In this debut episode, I want to introduce myself and my purpose, share what my creative process will feel like, share a summary of my process, and give my all to documenting at least a glimpse of my life as a normal human in the creative industry.

I wanted to share my inner thoughts on this—what led me to start vlogging and my key takeaways from doing all of this while growing Studio FC and managing our other businesses:

• Being a freelance creative is both a blessing and a curse because every day is a mystery — you win some, you lose some.

• But my realization is this: life itself is a mystery. So I really can’t complain. We just have to keep moving forward and remember that it’s all about how we get back up.

• I also learned that vulnerability is an armor, not a weakness. It protects us from being blindsided by mistakes because we’ve already acknowledged that we’re all just human.

• The biggest reason I decided to vlog is to document the journey instead of just writing about it.

• With videos, I have more value to share. I can repurpose content into short-form videos and static images, multiplying the impact of what I put out.

I’m so grateful for 2024. Life happened — it was a cycle of ups and downs, but at the end of the day, I get to wake up in a comfortable home, eat breakfast, spend time with my loved ones, and try new things every single day. What a life!
